"Gold days" is a film about my paternal grandmother, who used to horse ride back when she was in her teens, to meet her father from far off. Her love for it came from her father who also participated in horse riding, and also from reading about Jhansi Ki Rani which she named her horse after. It's a big contrast from her younger days of her exploring the outside world with horse riding, versus her being stuck at home when she's old. This film gets to explore that contrast with fishes, origami, and colours that touch upon the differences we see in her life.
